Términos y Condiciones — ChessAI
Vigentes desde el 23 de octubre de 2026.
Estos términos regulan el uso de ChessAI (paquete com.arcaelas.chess), un juego de Arcaelas. Al descargar, instalar o usar la app, aceptas estos términos. Si no estás de acuerdo, no la uses.
Licencia de uso
Te damos una licencia personal, gratuita, no exclusiva, intransferible y revocable para instalar y usar la app en los dispositivos que controlas, con fines personales y no comerciales, de acuerdo con estos términos y con las reglas de la tienda desde la que la descargaste.
No puedes:
- Vender, alquilar, sublicenciar ni distribuir la app o partes de ella.
- Copiar, modificar, descompilar o aplicar ingeniería inversa a la app, salvo en la medida en que la ley lo permita expresamente.
- Eliminar los avisos de derechos de autor o de marcas de la app o de sus archivos.
- Usar la app para fines ilegales o para infringir derechos de terceros.
La app
ChessAI es un juego de ajedrez. Puedes jugar contra el motor de ajedrez de la app, que funciona en tu dispositivo, en cinco niveles de dificultad, o contra otra persona en el mismo dispositivo en el modo de dos jugadores. Puedes fijar un tiempo máximo de partida y un máximo de movimientos por jugador, retomar las partidas en curso y consultar tus estadísticas. Se juega sin conexión, sin cuentas y sin partidas en línea. Es gratuita, no tiene compras dentro de la aplicación y no muestra publicidad.
Niveles y puntuación ELO
Cada nivel de dificultad muestra una puntuación ELO aproximada (de 800 en Principiante a 2400 en Maestro) solo como referencia de su fuerza. No es una calificación oficial de ninguna federación de ajedrez, no mide tu nivel y puede variar según el dispositivo y la posición. No garantizamos que las jugadas del motor sean las mejores posibles.
Partidas y datos
La app no tiene cuentas ni registro. Tus partidas, estadísticas y ajustes se guardan solo en tu dispositivo: no los guardamos en ningún servidor, no podemos recuperarlos si se pierden y no se pasan a otro dispositivo, salvo que los restaures desde una copia de seguridad del sistema de tu teléfono. Si usas Eliminar todos los datos, borras los datos de la aplicación o la desinstalas, se pierden.
Propiedad intelectual
La app, su código, su diseño, sus textos y sus gráficos son propiedad de Arcaelas o se usan con licencia. Las reglas del ajedrez son de dominio público. Los íconos de Font Awesome Free se usan bajo sus licencias libres (CC BY 4.0 y SIL Open Font License), la tipografía Poppins bajo la licencia SIL Open Font License, y los demás componentes de código abierto bajo sus propias licencias. Estos términos no te transfieren ningún derecho sobre la app, salvo la licencia de uso descrita arriba.
Privacidad
El tratamiento de datos se describe en la Política de Privacidad, que forma parte de estos términos.
Tiendas de aplicaciones
Si descargaste la app desde Google Play, también se aplican las condiciones de Google Play. Si la descargaste desde el App Store, también se aplica el Contrato de Licencia de Usuario Final estándar de Apple. En ese caso, estos términos son entre tú y Arcaelas, no con Apple; Apple no es responsable de la app ni de su contenido, no tiene obligación de darle mantenimiento ni soporte, y es tercero beneficiario de estos términos con derecho a hacerlos valer frente a ti.
Actualizaciones
Podemos actualizar la app para corregir errores, mejorarla o cumplir con requisitos de las tiendas o de la ley. Algunas funciones pueden cambiar o dejar de estar disponibles. También podemos suspender o dejar de distribuir la app en cualquier momento.
Sin garantías
La app se ofrece «tal cual» y «según disponibilidad», sin garantías de ningún tipo, expresas o implícitas, incluidas las de comerciabilidad, idoneidad para un fin determinado y no infracción, en la medida en que la ley lo permita.
Limitación de responsabilidad
En la medida máxima que permita la ley aplicable, Arcaelas no será responsable de daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales o consecuentes, ni de la pérdida de datos, partidas o estadísticas, derivados del uso o de la imposibilidad de usar la app. Como la app es gratuita, nuestra responsabilidad total, si la hubiera, no superará el monto que hayas pagado por ella. Nada en estos términos limita los derechos que la ley de tu país te reconoce como consumidor y que no se pueden renunciar.
Terminación
Puedes dejar de usar la app en cualquier momento desinstalándola. La licencia termina automáticamente si incumples estos términos; en ese caso debes dejar de usar la app y desinstalarla.
Cambios a estos términos
Si actualizamos estos términos, publicaremos la nueva versión en esta misma dirección y actualizaremos la fecha de vigencia. Si sigues usando la app después del cambio, aceptas los términos actualizados.
Ley aplicable
Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la República de Chile. Cualquier controversia se resolverá ante los tribunales ordinarios de Santiago de Chile, sin perjuicio de los derechos que la ley de tu país te reconozca como consumidor.

Terms and Conditions — ChessAI

These terms govern the use of ChessAI (package com.arcaelas.chess), a game by Arcaelas. By downloading, installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
License
We grant you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the app on devices you control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these terms and with the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
You may not:
- Sell, rent, sublicense or distribute the app or parts of it.
- Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except to the extent the law expressly allows it.
- Remove copyright or trademark notices from the app or its files.
- Use the app for illegal purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
The app
ChessAI is a chess game. You can play against the app's chess engine, which runs on your device, at five difficulty levels, or against another person on the same device in two-player mode. You can set a maximum game time and a maximum number of moves per player, resume games in progress and check your statistics. It is played offline, with no accounts and no online games. It is free, has no in-app purchases and shows no ads.
Levels and ELO rating
Each difficulty level shows an approximate ELO rating (from 800 for Beginner to 2400 for Master) only as a reference of its strength. It is not an official rating from any chess federation, does not measure your level and may vary depending on the device and the position. We do not guarantee that the engine's moves are the best possible ones.
Games and data
The app has no accounts or registration. Your games, statistics and settings are stored only on your device: we do not keep them on any server, cannot recover them if they are lost and they do not move to another device, unless you restore them from your phone's system backup. If you use Delete all data, clear the app data or uninstall the app, they are lost.
Intellectual property
The app, its code, its design, its texts and its graphics are owned by Arcaelas or used under license. The rules of chess are in the public domain. Font Awesome Free icons are used under their free licenses (CC BY 4.0 and SIL Open Font License), the Poppins typeface under the SIL Open Font License, and the other open source components under their own licenses. These terms do not transfer to you any right over the app, except the license described above.
Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
App stores
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play terms also apply. If you downloaded it from the App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies. In that case, these terms are between you and Arcaelas, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to maintain or support it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
Updates
We may update the app to fix bugs, improve it or comply with store or legal requirements. Some features may change or stop being available. We may also suspend or stop distributing the app at any time.
No warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arcaelas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the loss of data, games or statistics, arising from the use of or inability to use the app. Since the app is free, our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. The license ends automatically if you breach these terms; in that case you must stop using the app and uninstall it.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll publish the new version at this same URL and update the effective date. If you keep using the app after the change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be resolved before the ordinary courts of Santiago de Chile, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country grants you as a consumer.
